Extraction:

Cedarwood oil is obtained by process of steam distillation.

 

Properties:

It has a pale yellow to reddish yellow in color. It is thick and viscous oil has a characteristic soft, woody smell.

 

Components:

The main components are Thujopsene, Sesquiterpenes, Cedrol and Widdrol, Beta-Cedrene and Alpha-Cedrene etc

 

Uses:

•  It is calming oil and it provides relief to nerves.

Description:-

Cade oil is evergreen plant. Cade is a member of Cyprus family. It has a little narrow needle like leaves which is survives well during drought. It is generally used in perfume industry, especially in men’s fragrances and food industry. It has antiseptic and anti-parasitic properties.

 

Extraction:-

Cade oil is extracted by the method of steam distillation from the branches & wood of this plant.

 

Properties:-

It is thick fluid, dark in color with smoky aroma.

 

Components:-

Its main composition is guaicac, pinene, & p-cresol.

 

Blending:-

It blends well with the cedarwood, origanum, rosemary, clove and thyme.

 

Uses:-

•    It is used internally to eliminate intestinal worms& urinary tract infections.

•    It fights skin problems like eczema, psoriasis & dermatitis.

•    It is a good remedy for hair problems like dandruff or lice.

•    This oil is used to strengthen nails & beaks of birds of prey.

•    It can be used as skin creams & ointments & antidandruff shampoos.

•    It has antiseptic, analgesic, antimicrobial, antiprunitic, disinfectant, antiparasitic, vermifuge & vulneary properties.

•    It combats fungal growth & infections.

•    Treatment of pain, joint aches, leprosy, toothaches, snake bites etc.

 

Safety & Precautions:-

•    It is very irritating so should be used for external applications.

•    It should be diluted before applying on skin.

•    People with sensitive skin should avoid use of Cade oil.

•    Treatments with Cade oil should not continue for more than four weeks, because on large accumulation it can cause cancerous tumors.

•    Active ingredients of this oil are absorbed through skin may lead to kidney problems.

•    Cade oil should not be used on broken or inflamed skin.

•    Skin contact: Wash effected area with plenty of water.

•    Eye contact: Rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 5 minutes.

Botanical Name: Piper nigrum

Origin:-

Black pepper plant is inhabitant to south India & it is obtained from the seeds of black pepper, It is permanent woody growing up to 4mts in height on the support of other trees. It is single stem bears at least 25 fruits spikes and hasty fruit falls. Black pepper oil and its major active principle is piperine, which has ability to improve our digestive system.    

 

Extraction:-

Black pepper oil is obtained from unripe red fruit of pepper plant by process of steam distillation.

 

Properties:-

It is Colorless to Pale Yellow in color , and its note is Spicy with Characteristic of black pepper, and is Watery in viscosity

 

Composition:-

Black pepper oil constitutes are Piperine, alpha pinene, sabinene, beta pinene, alpha phellandene, myrcene, limonene, Caryophyllene, linalool, beta phanesene andterpinen 4-ol.

 

Blending:-

Black pepper oil blends well with the lavender, grapefruit, ginger, geranium, frankincense, coriander, fennel, clary sage, clove, sage, sandalwood, lime, lemon, bergamot & Ylang ylang oil.

 

Uses:-

•    It act as analgesic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, antitoxic, aphrodisiac, diaphoretic, digestive, diuretic, laxative & Tonic.( of spleen).

•    It is used in treatment of pain, chills, flu, colds, increase blood circulation, exhaustion, fever. It increases flow of saliva, increases appetite & act as digestive tonic.

•    Used as a blended massage & blended cream for tired aching limbs & muscles.

•    It is used in flavoring.

•    It can help in quitting smoking if one inhales pepper oil from bottle as per requirement.

•    It helps in curing arthritis, toothaches, vomiting and viral infections.

•    Black pepper oil is rich for useful minerals & vitamins esp. vitamin A and vitamin K.

 

Safety & Precautions:-

•    Skin Contact: Remove contaminated clothes if black pepper oil comes in contact with skin,

•    Eye Contact: If black pepper oil comes in contact with eye, wash eye with plenty of water

•    While handling do not drink and smoke.

•    Do not leave the drum empty as empty drum.

•    If it is used in high concentration it may affect kidney.

•    It should not be used during pregnancy

Botanical Name:  Calendula Officinalis

 

Description:

Calendula oil is obtained from fresh flower of marigold and it is also called as marigoldit. It has several species but mainly cultivated is pot marigold (calendula oficianalis). It is probably native to southern Europe. It has been used as culinary & medicinal herb, its petals are edible & are used fresh in salads.The pungent odor of the marigold has been used as an effective pesticide.

 

Extraction:

Calendula oil extracted from fresh calendula flowers by the method of Cold Press.
